So, it's been a LOOOOOONG time since I wrote a journal update. There's a lot, WOAH BOY

So, I entered my first OCT: I didn't make it in, but it was great practice. My critique basically went like this:

1) Needed a better hook
     I totally understand that. My story didn't really move forward in the intro. I had plans to step things up, but I definitely could have made a better hook.

2) Rushed Anatomy at Times
     I get that, too. Growing pains from getting back into drawing. (Especially against the other contestants)

3) Backgrounds
     I hate backgrounds. They're dumb. And stupid.

     And dumb.

Seriously, though, it was a great experience, and I'm psyched to see what happens now. I've got plans to enter another, and I'm working on a better story, and a new character to boot! WHEEEEEEE

     In terms of CURRENT OCTs, I'm currently in , and I've got my NPC at the ready. NPC shit starts after the second round, and you bet your ass I'm going to be ready. The war just started in full, and as a Medic, I'm going to have my hands full.

Finally, I got back to using pen & ink. Loving it so far.
